For people living in large cities, such as Beijing and Shanghai, scoring a high paying job is not only desired but essential to survive.
The latest survey released by Zhaopin Limited, a leading career platform in China, has revealed the average monthly salary of 7,665 yuan, calculated by surveying 37 major cities across the nation in the first quarter of the year, increased 0.8 percent compared to the previous quarter. Beijing topped the list, scoring the city with the highest monthly income of 9,942 yuan per month.
