Stephen Phillips, director-general of investment promotion at InvestHK, told China Daily on Monday that the startup ecosystem in Hong Kong has been growing by leaps and bounds, with a whopping 51 percent increase since 2017. He added that it mirrors the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which he expects will rise to be among the world's top five economies by 2030.
