Nanjing records 13 newly confirmed locally transmitted cases

Nanjing, Jiangsu province, reported 13 newly confirmed locally transmitted cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, the provincial health commission said on Friday morning.
Nanjing has recorded 184 locally transmitted cases, including eight in serious condition, since July 20.
Also in Jiangsu, Yangzhou city reported four locally transmitted cases and Huai'an city registered one case on Thursday.
Huai'an also reported three asymptomatic carriers and Wuxi one asymptomatic case on Thursday.
To contain the virus, Jiangsu blocked 22 highway entrances and exits on Friday and placed all transportation entering and leaving Nanjing under strict control.
