Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization

Every major transition in human society has been accompanied by a leap in productive forces and major progress in human civilization. But that also brings with it many problems restricting sustainable development, including scarcity of resources, climate change and environmental pollution.

In order to achieve synergies among governments, enterprises, financial institutions and other parties, for a concerted effort on research, investment and implementation of Global Energy Interconnection, GEIDCO has developed and built the first ever World of Energy Interconnection platform in the global energy interconnection field.

The global energy internet is essentially "smart grid + ultrahigh voltage grid + clean energy".It will not only improve and upgrade the quality of power infrastructure, but also promote the integration of energy, information and transportation networks, providing an important carrier for sustainable development.

WEI has brought together 347 clean energy development and power grid interconnection projects. Registered users cover more than 100 countries.
