Tian Xiaotian, a participant in the Open Division, enjoyed the Pokemon Trading Card Game alongside his wife and two sons. Reflecting on the significance of the game, he said that "engaging in the card game encourages them to venture outdoors, fostering face-to-face interactions and the formation of new friendships".

He further emphasized the educational benefits of the game, underscoring its role in nurturing children's critical thinking skills and boosting their self-assurance.

The event revealed that the 2024 Pokemon World Championships will take place from Aug 16 to 18 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Furthermore, the 2024 Pokemon Suzhou Masters is set to occur from Oct 26 to 27 in Suzhou, Jiangsu province.
