On Sept 13, the Global Travelers Conference was organized by Ctrip Group and TripAdvisor in Tianjin. During the event, the 2024 TripAdvisor Preferred List was unveiled. Sanya was recognized as one of China's top 10 preferred cities for overseas tourists due to its stunning tropical coastal scenery and unique cultural charm.

With its abundant tourism resources, well-established tourism infrastructure, and high-quality services, Sanya garners praise and acclaim in the international tourism market.

Recently, Hainan's visa-free policies have been continuously optimized and upgraded, ranging from expanding visa-free entry reasons for citizens of 59 countries to implementing a 144-hour visa-free policy for foreign tourist groups from Hong Kong and Macao entering Hainan. These enhancements have created more convenient conditions for overseas visitors to enter Sanya.

Sanya has implemented multiple measures to optimize convenience services for inbound tourists. High-end hotels in Sanya offer menus in multiple languages, such as Russian and English, while numerous tourist attractions have updated their signage systems to accommodate multilingual languages. Additionally, the 12345 hotline provides 24/7 assistance in English, Korean, Russian, and Japanese.

To meet the growing trend of inbound tourism, Sanya has expanded overseas routes and improved the accessibility of its international flight network, with 22 overseas routes restored and opened.

Albert Yip, director general of the Sanya Tourism Board, said that inbound tourism is a crucial focus for Sanya's tourism development. The city is set to continue to create a more comprehensive international tourism environment, attracting more international tourists for sightseeing and travel experiences.
