Jinan kicks off annual intl festival of springs
The 2025 Jinan International Festival of Springs kicked off on July 25. As the city's iconic springs surged at the height of summer, Jinan, known as the City of Springs, welcomed its signature celebration, highlighting the connection between people, the springs, the city, and the wider world.

Apart from opening performances, a variety of supporting events are also taking place across the city's cultural and tourism clusters and key attractions, offering diverse experiences for both residents and visitors.
One highlight of the festival is the drone shows over Daming Lake from July 25 to 30, with 5,000 drones illustrating the city's spring culture, landscapes, and technological progress. The display provides an immersive experience that highlighted Jinan's blend of tradition and modernity.

The 2025 Jinan International Festival of Springs will continue through Aug 25, featuring cultural events and activities that promote the city's spring heritage. Highlights include a night run around Huashan Lake, spring water themed markets, and poetry competitions, displaying Jinan's rich culture, vitality, and modern development.
