13. Reform and marketization of health care and housing in 1992 and 1994

In 1985, given China's reform and opening up, medical and health system reform also began.

The core idea of medical reform is: decentralization of power, transfer of profits and expansion of the decision-making rights of hospitals. In 2000, the country further deepened the reform and extended the coverage to institutional mechanisms and structural problems.
