Enlight Media had a 9.4 percent share in the movie market nationwide last year, following Huayi Brothers Media Group, which took 12.4 percent with ticket sales of 2.1 billion yuan.

Wang Changtian, CEO and president of Enlight Media told media that the company's wholly owned subsidiary Enlight Pictures is expected to further invest in film production and distribution in the next two years, and the revenue earned through film would account for more than 50 percent of the company's total revenue.
