Hong Kong -- Chinese President Hu Jintao ended his three-day Hong Kong visit Sunday and left Hong Kong for Beijing via Shenzhen, a southern Chinese city bordering Hong Kong, where he attended the opening ceremony of the Shenzhen Bay Port, a border crossing between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

Upon his departure at the border line at the Shenzhen Bay Port, two Hong Kong children presented bouquets to the president and his wife.

The president shook hands with those who saw him off and waved farewell to the crowd.

Among Hu's entourage on the departure were Wang Gang, alternate member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee; Sheng Huaren, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC); Tang Jiaxuan, state councilor; Liao Hui, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council; and Liang Guanglie, member of the Central Military Commission and chief of General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
