China and the US agree that regular exchanges between leaders of the two countries are essential to the long-term, sound and steady growth of China-US relations.

The two sides are committed to working together and with other countries in the weeks ahead for a successful outcome at the Copenhagen climate change conference.

China and the US agree to deepen counter-terrorism consultation and cooperation on an equal and mutually beneficial basis and to strengthen law-enforcement cooperation.

China and the US look forward to expanding discussions on space science cooperation and starting a dialogue on human space flight and space exploration.
