Air China stewardesses try on their new cheong-sam uniform, specially designed for the nonstop cross-Straits flights during the Spring Festival in Beijing January 27, 2005. Chinese mainland jetliners are scheduled to begin touching down in airports on the Taiwan island on Saturday for the first time since 1949.
