英國文化協(xié)會設立的青年創(chuàng)意企業(yè)家（YCE）項目旨在對世界各地創(chuàng)意和文化產(chǎn)業(yè)中，銳意創(chuàng)新最為令人振奮的企業(yè)家予以表彰和支持。我們尋找能夠引領創(chuàng)意未來的人——他們可以檢驗新的模型和思想，為獲獎者提供獨一無二的赴英考察之旅，并為他們搭建一個溝通平臺。2004年以來，已有來自全世界51個國家的近400名參與者訪問英國，而他們只是由項目3,000多名成員（包括參與者、申請者以及廣泛的接觸者）組成的活躍的國際網(wǎng)絡的一部分。

部門定義：

青年創(chuàng)意企業(yè)家設計與時裝項目的參與者可來自以下任一領域：

建筑、室內(nèi)設計與環(huán)境

產(chǎn)品設計制造：家具、工業(yè)產(chǎn)品和工藝品

設計推廣：展覽、活動、藝術(shù)節(jié)和零售

由任一領域內(nèi)的顧問提供專業(yè)的服務

時裝、紡織品、裝飾品或香水的設計和生產(chǎn)

時裝推廣：展示、展覽、藝術(shù)節(jié)、活動

時裝零售：采購，推銷

時裝產(chǎn)品研究、采購及供應鏈管理

時裝營銷、公共關系、品牌推廣、新聞報道

時裝出版、溝通、網(wǎng)站

由任一領域內(nèi)的顧問提供專業(yè)的服務

申請者須知：

必須是時裝或設計部門年輕企業(yè)的所有者或推動者，在業(yè)內(nèi)擁有兩到七年的經(jīng)驗

具有企業(yè)家精神，并運用自己的能力在本國成功推廣自己所從事的行業(yè)，這種推廣可以是是商業(yè)的，也可以是非商業(yè)的

通過自身的性格、動力和能力證明自己有潛力成為未來本國時裝和設計領域的領導者，并成為英國的未來合作伙伴

英語語言技能必須達到雅思考試六分水平 —— “較熟練的聽說讀寫水平”或以上（此次英倫之旅將全程使用英語，因此申請者須具備較強的英語能力）

請注意——盡管并未設年齡上限，本獎項針對的目標是經(jīng)營年輕企業(yè)的新一代企業(yè)家。

獲獎者須完成哪些任務？

2014年9月10-17日（待定）期間可參加赴英產(chǎn)業(yè)考察

在申請過程中按約定提交所有推廣信息（簡介、照片等），以便英國文化協(xié)會在宣布獲獎名單后在英國推介獲獎者之用

考察過程中積極參加所有事先安排好的會議和活動，尤其是簡要介紹本人所從事的工作（五分鐘）

愿酌情與其他英方/國際產(chǎn)業(yè)界人士一道參與任何活動/接待/小組討論（議題視活動安排以及參與者的經(jīng)歷/關聯(lián)性而定）

視野開闊，積極尋找機會與考察中遇到的英方公司、機構(gòu)和個人在未來開展合作并發(fā)展業(yè)務

記錄并向英方提供考察見聞，以供英國文化協(xié)會在相關國家/英國的博客和影片中采用，在考察之前、考察期間和考察之后接受媒體采訪，參與評估，等等

回國后與青年創(chuàng)意企業(yè)家項目網(wǎng)絡的其他成員分享各自在英考察期間的經(jīng)歷

參加英國文化協(xié)會創(chuàng)辦的國際青年創(chuàng)意企業(yè)家網(wǎng)絡（該網(wǎng)絡擁有約3,000名會員），積極提供想法和反饋，參與各項活動并開展相關項目

The British Council’s Young Creative Entrepreneur (YCE) programme celebrates, supports and connects the most exciting entrepreneurs who are shaping the creative and cultural industries around the world.

We are looking for people who run great fashion and design businesses and recognise that the ability to manage production and get a product to market is just as important as fantastic design skills. We are seeking those who use interesting materials, resources and business models to either develop amazing products themselves or get other people’s products to the marketplace; people who engage with cultural and social issues and people who understand the power of collaboration. This is not an opportunity for designers – we are specifically looking for people who run a fashion and design led business.

Winners will participate in a shared tour of the UK’s fashion and design sector. The programme offers the winners unique access to and insights into the UK fashion and design industry, as well as providing a fantastic opportunity to make a wide range of business contacts that will act as a springboard for future business/collaborations with the UK and internationally. The tour will run from 10 – 17 September 2014 (tbc), during which time London plays host to London Fashion week and London Design week..

Sector Definition:

YCE Design and Fashion participants can come from any of the following areas:

Architecture, interiors and environment

Product design manufacture: furniture, industrial products and craft

Design promotion: exhibitions, events, festivals and retail

Consultants providing specialist services in any of the areas outlined

Fashion, textile, accessories or perfume design and production

Fashion promotion: shows, exhibitions, festivals, events

Fashion retail: buying, merchandising

Fashion product research, sourcing, supply chain management

Fashion marketing, PR, branding, journalism

Fashion publishing, communications, websites

Consultants providing specialist services in any of the areas outlined

Eligibility criteria:

Applicants must:

Own or be the driving force behind a young business in the fashion OR design sector with at least 2 years’ experience and no more than 7 years in business.

Be entrepreneurial and have shown their ability in the promotion of that creative sector in their country, in either a commercial context, public context, or both

Through their character, drive and abilities, demonstrate their potential to be a future leader of the sector in their country and a future partner for the UK

Have English language skills to IELTS 6 - ‘competent user’ or above (the entire UK tour will be conducted in English so a high competency in the language is essential)

While there is no upper age limit for the awards, this is an award for emerging entrepreneurs who are running young businesses.

The award selection will be made by the British Council and in consultation with sector experts.

What is required from the winner?

Be available to take part in an industry tour in the UK from 10 – 17 September 2014

Send all agreed marketing information (biography, photo etc.) during application process so that the British Council can promote the winner in both China and in the UK when the winner is announced

Actively participate in all arranged meetings and events during the programme, in particular:

Give a presentation (5 min) about their work

Be willing to participate in any events/receptions/panel discussions, as appropriate, alongside other UK/international industry speakers (topics would be dependent on programming by partner events and the experience/relevance of YCE participants)

Be open minded and actively looking for future collaboration and business with UK companies, organisations and individuals that they meet

Record their trip to the UK for use by the British Council in China and the UK (e.g. blog, film), participate in media interviews before, during and after the trip, participate in evaluation etc

Take part in events when they return to share their UK experience with a wider YCE network at home

Be part of the British Council’s international YCE network, which has around 3,000 members, and be keen to contribute ideas and feedback, participate in events, and develop projects

The award selection will be made by the British Council in consultation with sector experts after a short interview process.
