《時代映像：1960年以來的英國攝影》展，將展出38位著名攝影師和藝術(shù)家的400多幅作品，創(chuàng)作領(lǐng)域跨越了新聞攝影、肖像、時尚和純藝術(shù)。本次展覽透過紀(jì)實攝影實踐，回顧了五十多年來的英國攝影，展出了這一時期最重要的攝影師和藝術(shù)家的作品，反映了攝影在英國乃至國際舞臺上日益獲得的地位。

菲利浦?瓊斯?格里菲茨（Philip Jones Griffiths）在50年代拍攝威爾士礦工的作品，安娜?福克斯（Anna Fox）表現(xiàn)80年代倫敦辦公室生活的習(xí)作，以及托比?格蘭維爾（Toby Glanville）對90年代末英國鄉(xiāng)村工人肖像的刻畫，均表現(xiàn)并對比了英國的勞動生活。約翰?欣德（John Hinde）、法伊?戈德溫（Fay Godwin）和西蒙?羅伯茨（Simon Roberts）等攝影師所創(chuàng)作的的英國海濱風(fēng)景和肖像作品，則刻畫了英國的休閑生活。馬丁?帕爾（Martin Parr）多彩的編年紀(jì)，德雷克?瑞杰斯（Derek Ridgers）對亞文化的探索，以及特倫斯?多諾萬（Terence Donovan）反映英國時尚的權(quán)威影像，皆體現(xiàn)了詼諧的玩樂以及大眾流行文化的興起。

An exhibition curated by the Photographer Gallery, documenting 50 years of British life, from leading UK photo artists. With work from over forty photographers spanning the worlds of fashion, documentary, landscape and other approaches including moving image and mixed media, the exhibition introduces the diversity and dynamism of photographic practises from the UK into a new creative context.
