Kay Hashimoto (see photo), an Asian-American woman living in New York, pays some $15 for her monthly expenses while putting $4,000 into monthly savings, the New York Post reported. The Certified Public Accountant dumpster dives for nearly all her food and clothes. She has not bought toilet paper in the past 10 years and washes herself off by using soap after doing her business. The frugal baseline she set herself was that she didn't carelessly date in order to sponge meals and save money. Kay is aiming to save up $250,000 by next year.
