In Seattle, there has been wide coverage of President Xi Jinping's visit on local TV and radio, as well as in newspapers and magazines. The Seattle Times devoted three pages, including its front page, to a special report on the visiting Chinese president.
The Seattle Times is also running a section where readers can imagine they are in an elevator with President Xi Jinping and could ask him any question on how to move China-US relations forward.
One theme of Xi's visit to Seattle is technology－a sector where the "elevator pitch" is a common way to make your point, the article said.
