Awards attract 'My China Story' videos from 35 countries, 28 languages

The award ceremony for the third Global Youth Bilingual Broadcast Announcing and Anchoring Contest took place on July 12, sponsored by the Communication University of China (CUC) and organized by CUC's School of International Studies. The contest invites young people from around the world to create short videos on social media platforms in Chinese and at least one other language, sharing their personal stories about China.
As a unique bridge between China and the world, bilingual hosts and anchors are emerging as a vital force on the international new media stage. Centered on the theme "My China Story", this year's competition highlights authenticity and emotional resonance from individual perspectives, offering diverse and contemporary interpretations of China's narrative.
This year, 643 participants from 35 countries and regions participated in the competition, with submissions covering 28 languages, including Chinese, English, Spanish, Bengali and German.
