3月27日晚，世界杯預(yù)選賽非洲區(qū)馬里對(duì)多哥的比賽在最后一分鐘被迫中斷，起因是客場(chǎng)作戰(zhàn)的多哥隊(duì)在最后時(shí)刻將比分反超為2：1，導(dǎo)致主場(chǎng)馬里隊(duì)出線無望。氣憤至極的數(shù)千名馬里球迷瘋狂地沖進(jìn)球場(chǎng)，造成足球賽事史上的嚴(yán)重騷亂事件。外電報(bào)道如下：Angry fans invaded the field and forced the suspension of an African World Cup qualifying match between Togo and host Mali, then went on a riot and looting spree in Bamako.
Togo led 2-1 when the game was stopped in second-half injury time.
The home fans at the packed 70,000-seat March 26 Stadium became upset when Kader Koubadia scored what appeared to be a goal in injury time.
Police fired tear gas at dozens of angry fans who ran onto the field after the goal, and state television immediately cut its live transmission. Dozens of people passed out after inhaling the gas.
Pass out意為“昏倒，失去知覺，醉得不省人事”，此外還有“畢業(yè)，結(jié)業(yè)，分送（禮品），不復(fù)，不再”等多種含義。
據(jù)悉，在球場(chǎng)外，無數(shù)人涌進(jìn)球場(chǎng)附近的各條街道，焚燒汽車，對(duì)幾十家飯店、酒吧打、砸、搶、燒，打傷多人，失去理智的球迷還揚(yáng)言要?dú)⑺缼讉€(gè)賽場(chǎng)上表現(xiàn)糟糕的本國(guó)球員，公開點(diǎn)名要取卡努特和巴卡約科的首級(jí)。國(guó)際足聯(lián)已決定對(duì)此嚴(yán)重騷亂事件進(jìn)行深入調(diào)查。
